We are proud to introduce
our trainers...

Amira Stevens

I knew at a young age that there was no better job than to help give people their lives back through Fitness and Nutrition. When I found CrossFit I instantly fell in love and knew this was the best way to do that. CrossFit was so much more than just a workout. Besides being the hardest workouts of my life, I had so much fun doing them and the community you find in CrossFit is unlike anything else out there. Everyday that CrossFit 222 grows and changes another life, I am forever grateful I made the decision to open up this gym and I have God to thank for my success.

I began weightlifing in high school and continued using it as part of my football training throughout college.  I was introduced to CrossFit during the Police Academy and joined CrossFit 222 in 2014. I then joing their coaching stall in 2017 after obtaining my CFL1.  I would never have imagined that I would be in better shape now than when I was  a 20 year old college athlete.  The sense of community and the transformations of athletes at CrossFit 222 that I have witnessed are undeniable and are the reason why I love coaching.

Kasi Egbert

I started CrossFit in 2015 in a local gym in Lexington, Ky.  Once I moved to La Grange I wanted to join an actual "Box".  I now call CrossFit 222 my second home!  I recently became an L1 instructor and am really enjoying every minute of transitioning into my new coaching role.  I am a registered Nurse in Utilization Management and so helping others lead a happier, healthier, stronger life is a big part of my life. The main reson I decided to become an L1 Instructor is to share my passion of CrossFit with others, helping people reach their ultimate fitness goals, and foster a positive environment where people can grow both mentally and physically.  I am known for pushing you out of your comfort zone, so don't be surprised if you hear me say "lets add a little more weight to that bar"!

I was a 3 sport athlete throughout high school but never really enjoyed “working out”. It was just something that went along with playing ball. As I got older, I tried to stay in shape but could never really find something that I liked enough to stay consistent with. That all changed when I found CrossFit in 2014. I fell in love with it immediately. It was so much more than just a workout - it wasn’t about lifting weights to look a certain way, it was about seeing what my body and mind could accomplish. I was taught to move safely and efficiently. That’s what kept me coming back. I became a coach about a year later because I love helping other people discover what I discovered. I love to see people feel a sense of accomplishment when they do something they didn’t think they could - whether it’s getting their first double under, or just making it to the gym 3 days in a row. The community here is phenomenal and accomplishments are celebrated together. You’ll never have a better cheering section!
